My 'Why', and some background on the project.
7 years in healthcare and 10 years in fitness has made me realise that the healthcare (or sickcare) system is fundamentally broken, but, I know and have seen amazing people doing amazing things.
The Awesome Health podcast is essentially you joining me on a journey to cut through all the noise and provide a better understanding of what will work for you and what you muiggth wnat to focus on. Make no mistake, underpinning this is my desire to have awesome conversations with amazing people and allow people to understand what is meaningful and applicable for them.
My audience and coaching practice is focused on getting guys heading towards middle age back into the best shape of their lives. The podcast will be building on that foundation and opening up the audience to a bigger net of people looking the truths, and a way to make sense of their own health - Anyone who is looking to define their own unique, path to Awesome Health.
I'm not a fitness guru or a quack telling you how YOU should live, this is a bout a journey we take together.
Hope that you find some guest inspiring and some aligned with what you want out of life, and some you might want to model, which, if they are on my show you should model, but remember...
Don't do what someone else does, don't eat what they eat from trainer on Instagram to your wife or buddy.
Don't train like someone else,
They don't have your dna your mobility etc... Find your own path. Tactical implementation
BUT - here is the warning, don't let this distract you and give you an excuse not to TAKE ACTION.
You need to be..an...intentional human being focused in meaningful work and meaningful goals.
My hope for this project and for you as an integral part of this project is that you find tactical advice and support in implementing your version of awesome health into your life.
